The annual refugee festival tournament is an initiative of the GAU in collaboration with the Scottish Unity Football League.
The maiden edition dates back to July 2012.
The aim of the tournament is to use of football as a means of promoting anti-discrimination by providing a platform, which permits multi-ethnical interaction, which eliminates “stereo-typical barriers” such as race, religion, nationality, age, sexual orientation and other factors.
